Isaiah Buggs, a former football star for the University of Alabama, was arrested once more in Tuscaloosa on Sunday, according to records from the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Officer Stephanie Taylor stated that the Texas Department of Public Safety came to the 1600 Block of Mimosa Park at 5:28 a.m. after receiving a call from 911. The accusations of second-degree assault and second-degree domestic violence were brought against Buggs, who was taken into custody at the scene.

He was handed up to the Tuscaloosa County Jail, where he will be kept on a domestic violence hold for twenty-four hours and a bond of five thousand dollars.

Buggs was previously arrested on charges of animal cruelty in May, following the discovery of two dogs who were underweight at a rented property in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, after he had moved out of the same location. I had to put an end to the life of one of the animals. Buggs surrendered himself to the Tuscaloosa police department first, but he was released from custody a short while later.

According to the documents filed with the court, Buggs was served with a notice of termination on the lease in April. According to the investigators, Buggs was overdue on the rent of the home by more than $3,100. The charges were refuted by Buggs, who stated that the dogs did not belong to him and that he was not aware that they were present at the location.

The arrest of Buggs was confirmed by TSCO on Sunday, but the company has not disclosed any other information.

According to Officer Taylor, the documents that are required by the court are anticipated to be published on Monday.
