In Two Weeks, There Have Been 4,148 More Cases Of Coronavirus In Indiana, And 73 More Deaths From Covid

New COVID-19 data has been added to the state’s coronavirus monitor by the Indiana Department of Health.

As of Tuesday, March 27, the data had been gathered. The dashboard for the state is changed every Wednesday.

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose from 26,367 on March 12 to 26,440 on Tuesday. That’s 73 more than before.

Indiana has had 462 deaths since January 2, when the state reported 25,978 deaths.

In Indiana, on the other hand, 150 people have died from the flu so far this season (2023–2024) (March 22).

The number of likely COVID-19 deaths rose from 1,538 on March 12 to 1,548 on Tuesday. It’s 10 times more now.

On March 12, there were 2,202,632 COVID-19-positive cases in Indiana. On Tuesday, that number rose to 2,206,780. That’s 4,148 more than before.

On Tuesday, the state had an average of 37 hospital admissions and 200 trips to the emergency room over the past seven days. On March 12, 24 people were admitted to the hospital and 296 people went to the emergency room.

The IDOH says that as of Tuesday, 3,867,114 Hoosiers had finished the primary vaccination set. That’s about 54.8% of all people in the world.

The webpage for the state of Indiana says that as of Tuesday, 993,965 Hoosiers had all of their shots.
