MANHATTAN, New York – A man who attacked and robbed a guy who was 69 years old on a subway platform in Manhattan on Monday is the subject of an ongoing hunt for the culprit.
A man is said to have put the victim in a chokehold, hit him multiple times in the head, robbed him, and then escaped on foot around eleven in the morning, according to the police.
“Obviously something needs to be changed because it’s scaring people,” a particular participant stated. “Sometimes it can just be the wrong place at the wrong time.”

The incorrect location was at a crowded subway station on Canal Street by Broadway, specifically on the platform for the R train that services the downtown area.
“Sometimes I feel like it’s hard to stay up with all of the crime in New York because it does feel like there’s so much sometimes,” according to a female motorcycle rider.
Recently, on Thursday, there was yet another horrific assault that took place. The incident took place at the 59th Street subway stop, which is located along Lexington Avenue. According to the victim, Veynu Narasiman, who pointed to the right side of his face, “I believe all of the fractured bones are in this circle area.”
When Naraseeman, a 41-year-old husband and father of two, was unexpectedly hit by a sucker punch, he and his family had just arrived in New York City from Austin, Texas, where they were attempting to take in the sights and sounds of the city.
“I was just looking at my phone and all of the sudden I felt just a big blow to the face out of nowhere,” Naraseeman explained to reporters.
An injury to Naraseeman’s face resulted in the breaking of twelve bones.
“He was bleeding profusely from both nostrils, and he was spitting out blood, and the right side of his face was all swollen,” said Regina Koshy, Naraseeman’s wife. “He was spitting out blood.”
Fortunately, the victim’s wife was able to get a clear view of the perpetrator and offer a description of him to the authorities upon their arrival as per ABC7NY.
They have returned to their home in Texas, where they are still waiting for an arrest.
The victim who was attacked and robbed on Monday is likewise yearning for justice just like everyone else.
