A Lyerly woman was arrested on Saturday after a traffic stop on Highway 114.
According to the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy pulled twenty-three-year-old Angel Bare over after observing her failing to maintain a single lane. When the officer asked for vehicle registration, the suspect was unable to provide proof of ownership or insurance.
The deputy asked for consent to search the vehicle and found several different pills inside a pill bottle in the vehicle. The suspect admitted that she had no prescription for the pills and refused to tell the officer where she had obtained the drugs.
Bare was arrested and booked into the Chattooga County Jail on drug possession and driving charges.
