Based on the number of community positive cases for COVID-19 increasing, all Chattooga County Schools will be closed on Friday, September 3, 2021. Although we are currently experiencing a decrease in positive COVID-19 cases within our school system, this decision, in conjunction with a scheduled holiday on Monday, September 6, 2021, will allow a 4-day separation. This will further assist with social distancing and help reduce our school positive cases.
All students will return to in-person learning following their normal schedule on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
Parents, we ask that if your child tests positive or develops symptoms during this closure, please contact the school Tuesday, September 7, 2021. This information will help us make any necessary adjustments as we work to mitigate COVID-19 in our schools.
