Vaccinated Chattooga County Public Works Employees Test Positive for COVID

Four Chattooga County Public Works employees have tested positive for COVID-19 and are out of work, according to Chattooga County Commissioner Blake Elsberry.

Elsberry said on Tuesday that all four of the employees had been vaccinated.

The commissioner said that he wasn’t sure which vaccine the employees had taken, but said that two of the four were very sick and had been “in and out of the hospital.”

Currently, Public Works is operating with just five employees.
