Summerville City Council Meeting Planned for This Evening; Public Welcome

The Summerville City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting for August coming up this evening at 5 PM at Summerville City Hall.

The council has a full agenda for tonight’s meeting.  The council is expected to discuss expenditures totaling over $400,000 for equipment needed for the water transmission line that is being built to pipe water from a well sight on Highway 48 to the water treatment facility on Raccoon Creek.  Also, the council is expected to honor former Summerville Council Member Kristy Dennis for her service and to hear from Summerville resident Dee Windle concerning flooding at his house on Union Street.
