Chattooga County Agricultural Fair Begins Tomorrow, Aug. 26

The Annual Chattooga County Agricultural Fair is coming up beginning tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 26  at 5 PM.

On Thursday, AgGeorgia Farm Credit is paying the gate admission for all students with a valid student ID.

There will be a $5 voluntary donation for parking at the fair.  The proceeds from the parking go to Chattooga County’s volunteer fire departments that coordinate parking at the fair.

Once again this year Peachtree Rides will be operating the midway at the fair.  Peachtree Rides sells the armbands and tickets for the midway rides.  The armbands will be $20 each on Thursday and Sunday and $25 each on Friday and Saturday.

Sunday’s gate admission is free, sponsored by the Town of Trion.

The fair will take place at the Chattooga County Ag Building and Summerville Middle School property located just off Highway 100 in Summerville.

Since the fair takes place on school property at Summerville Middle School, all Chattooga County School will release early at 1:30 PM on Thursday and Friday.
