Mr. Parm Found Unresponsive in Walker County Jail

A 37 year old LaFayette man, being held at the Walker County Jail, was found unresponsive in a holding cell last Wednesday at 8 a.m.        Richard Nathan Parm was pronounced dead at an area hospital, after medical personnel and detention officers attempted life-saving measures.
Parm had been arrested by LaFayette Police on felony drug charges at 2:15 a.m. on the date of his death. The body was taken to the crime lab for an autopsy.
The GBI is investigating the death, per protocol.
