Inmate Charged With Possession of Dangerous Weapon

An inmate has been charged with having a weapon at the Floyd County Jail.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 22-year old Luke Austin Lane of Silver Creek had a 5 to 6-inch knife-like object.

Lane also painted gang-related symbols on the walls of his cell and destroyed a mattress by stabbing it.

He has been charged with possession of a dangerous weapon by an inmate and interference with government property.

Lane is one of several alleged members of the white supremacist group known as “The Base” that were arrested last year in a plot to overthrow the government and commit murder.
