Two wanted felons from Northwest Georgia were arrested in Mississippi following a traffic stop in Biloxi.
According to reports from the Biloxi, Mississippi Police Department, officers stopped a 2011 Chrysler 200 that was displaying a tag that was believed to be stolen. When officers stopped the vehicle, the male driver ran from the vehicle and jumped into a nearby body of water. Police used boats to apprehend the suspect who was identified as twenty-five-year-old Shannon Reeves from Rome.
A female passenger in the vehicle was identified as twenty-seven-year-old Mackenzie Joyane Tucker of Summerville.
Both Reeves and Tucker were arrested after officers found drug paraphernalia and “multiple sets of burglary tools”, according to Biloxi Police.
Reeves and Tucker also both had outstanding felony warrants from Georgia for Grand Larceny.
