An inmate at the Floyd County Prison, Brandon Gregory Mullis-Vonbehren, 34 of Kingston, is facing additional charges after reports said he conspired with others to sneak marijuana and tobacco into the facility.
Reports said that Mullis-Vonbehren and his wife Brittany Danielle Vonbehren conspired to sneak in 13.2 grams of marijuana and 2 packs of tobacco into the prison.
Police stated that Brittany left the contraband in a trash can at the Shannon Rereation Complext for Brandon to pick up and take back with him.
He is charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and items prohibited by an inmate.
Brittany Danielle Mullis-Vonbehren, 34 of Kingston, was arrested this week after reports said she conspired to sneak marijuana and tobacco into the Floyd County Prison.
Reports said that Mullis-Vonbehren attempted to drop off 13.2 grams of marijuana and two bags of tobacco into a trash can at the Shannon Recreation Complex for her husband, who was an inmate at the prison, to pick up and smuggle back into the prison.
Mullis-Vonbehren is charged with items prohibited by an inmate and conspiracy to commit a felony.
