In February of this year, the Hope Rebirth Homeless Shelter’s board of directors voted to donate their facility in Summerville to the Community Resource Center (CRC) of Chattooga County.
The former homeless shelter, along with all of its contents was donated to the CRC. The CRC of Chattooga County helps coordinate efforts that include feeding the hungry and food-bank efforts, along with housing for at-risk women and foster care support.
CRC is asking the community to participate in a cleanup day on Saturday May 1, 2021 at 50 Eleanor Avenue in Summerville starting at 10 AM. The event is expected to last until 4 PM and Small Town BBQ will be hosting fundraiser on sight and will donate proceeds to CRC.
CRC helps over 700 families in Chattooga County each month.
