A Jeep Wrangler was stolen from a local business over the weekend, but was later recovered in Alabama.
The Summerville Police Department met with Jason Carroll at a Bellah Ave. address where he is co-owner of a clean up shop there. Carroll reported that when he had left the night before, the Jeep Wrangler was on the lot and the keys to it were locked inside his shop, along with the keys to other vehicles on the lot. The Jeep belonged to another local business, Harveys South End Auto.
A BOLO was issued for the vehicle after receiving the VIN number. The vehicle was later found by the owner of Harveys South End Auto in Cedar Bluff, Alabama, where local law enforcement had recovered it.
