Lisa Bullard, Lyerly Teacher, Receives Honor

Lyerly Elementary School Teacher, Lisa Bullard was named to the Elite 100 teachers by IXL recently.

The Elite 100 Teacher Award represents IXL’s highest-achieving classrooms worldwide and demonstrate an exceptional commitment to enhancing learning through technology.

Bullard, who started teaching in 2000 and currently teaches 3rd grade, was shocked to receive this award. The IXL award was given to teachers based off of the time their students spent on IXL. More than 700,000 teachers worldwide use IXL.

Bullard says its her students who really earned this award.

Lisa Bullard is a graduate of Shorter with a degree in Early Childhood Education, with a gifted endorsement from Northwest Georgia RESA and has a specialist degree in Interrelated Special Education from Jacksonville State University.
