Chattooga County voters headed to the polls on Tuesday to cast their ballots in the two Georgia Senate runoff elections. As expected, Chattooga County voted big for the two Republican candidates with each receiving nearly 80% of the total votes in their respective races. Here are the results for Chattooga County:
David Perdue (R) – 6,555 (79.7%)
John Osoff (D) – 1,672 (20.3%)
Kelly Loeffler (R) – 6,547 (79.5%)
Raphael Warnock (D) – 1,685 (20.5%)
Republicans David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler swept Walker, Catoosa and Chattooga Counties with 77 to 79 percent of the vote, in Tuesday’s runoff for the U.S. Senate from Georgia.
Walker went with David Perdue 19,250… to 4,887 for Jon Ossoff. Kelly Loeffler got 19,274 votes to 4,849 for Raphael Warnock. Those are complete but unofficial returns.
Walker County had a 54 percent voter turnout with over 24,000 votes cast… an unusually high turnout for a runoff election.
