A motorcyclist led law enforcement on a high-speed chase on Smallen Road on Sunday night.
Chattooga 911 reported that a State Trooper noticed the motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed as the driver turned onto Smallen Road. According to reports, the chase reached speeds of 100 miles-per-hour in a 35 mile-per-hour speed zone. Chattooga County deputies also aided in the chase. The motorcycle driver drove the length of Smallen Road and made a turn onto Oak Hill Road where he was subsequently apprehended.
Thirty-two-year-old Dillion Vanallan Sims was taken into custody and charged with a long list of charges including multiple drug charges for possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine, along with DUI and possession of a knife or firearm during the commission of a crime.
Sims was booked into the Chattooga County Jail around 1:30 AM on Monday morning.
