Teacher Charged With Sexually Enticing a Child Online

A former Ringgold Middle School teacher is facing charges related to sexually enticing a child online.  David Fowler resigned his teaching position on Friday.
According to an arrest report from the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office, they received a call from a detective at the Jasper County Georgia Sheriff’s office, saying a young child was being sexually exploited over the internet, having received inappropriate pictures from Fowler.
Catoosa County detectives executed a search warrant at his Fort Oglethorpe home and he was arrested on Thursday.
Sheriff Gary Sisk confirms Fowler is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes, obscene internet contact with a child, and electronically furnishing obscene material to minors.
Fowler had been a teacher at Ringgold Middle since 2018.
