Georgia Governor Takes Atlanta Journal To Task For Failure to Report Progress Against COVID 19

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp took the Atlanta Journal Constitution to task for failing to report progress in the fight against COVID-19 in the State.  In a Sunday email, Kemp said that during the month of August:
Georgia’s percent positive of COVID-19 tests has dropped from 12.4% to 8.6%.
The 7-day average of new cases declined 35%.
COVID-19 hospitalizations have dropped 38% from the peak.
“As usual”, the email said, “the Atlanta Journal Constitution forgot to report this encouraging data and probably never will”.
To keep our state moving in the right direction, Governor Kemp  is urging Georgians to do “4 Things for Fall”:
Wear a mask, watch your distance, wash your hands and follow the executive order.
