LaFayette Woman Charged With Hitting Cars With Her Vehicle

A local resident was charged after her vehicle hit two others in the Brookwood Square parking lot of the former Shoprite.
31 year old Tinikka Starr Cordell was asleep behind the wheel when Police arrived.  They said her speech was slurred, she was having some trouble communicating… and could not remember how she got there.
Cordell told them about a prescription she was taking… and in her purse, they found a hypodermic needle and a metal spoon.
She was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and a probation violation.  The cars hit in the parking lot belonged to store employees, according to the report.
