Two Arrested in Drug Deal Gone Bad

Two Flintstone residents have been arrested on armed robbery charges stemming from an incident that happened on McCallie Road in Walker County, on May 16th.
According to a report from the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, the two were involved in a drug deal-gone bad.  The report says that the two juvenile victims – who were trying to sell marijuana – were robbed by twenty-five-year-old Billy S. Slover, and twenty-four-year old Karli C. McCleland. The two suspects took the drugs, the victim’s cell phones, $80 cash and threatened to kill the juveniles. The juvenile victims had been in contact with the couple on a social media site.

Slover was arrested on May 18th and McCleland was arrested on Sunday of this week, according to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson.
