A Trion man was sentenced in Chattooga County Superior Court to thirteen years in prison after he admitted to molesting children. He is the same man who was convicted last year for groping an employee at CVS in Summerville.
Sixty-eight-year-old Terry Lee Coleman was arrested in December of 2018 after Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader said he was accused of child molestation. At the time of Coleman’s arrest, Sheriff Schrader stated, ” We can release that the allegations are of inappropriate contact with several children who are under 14 years of age.” At the time, Coleman was charged with child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.
Coleman was found guilty of sexual battery in the incident involving the employee at CVS Pharmacy. State Court Judge Jon Dennis had banned Coleman from entering the pharmacy after his conviction.
Judge Kristina Cook Graham sentenced Coleman to prison after he admitted to molesting a twelve-year-old and an eleven-year-old.
