A fifty-year-old Summerville woman was arrested after she was caught on video surveillance allegedly stealing items from her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle.
According to a report from the Summerville Police Department, the woman’s ex-boyfriend came to police to tell them about the incident. He told police that the woman had stolen a credit card with a $1,000 limit along with jewelry valued at $1,000 and a watch valued at $1,000. All of the items were inside the man’s vehicle which was parked outside his residence at the Summerville Housing Authority on Marvin Avenue.
The man went to the Housing Authority office and requested to see video surveillance footage which allegedly shows the woman getting in his 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche and taking the items. He then shared that video with police.
Beverly Ann Pair of a Ridgewood Circle, Summerville address was subsequently arrested on charges of theft by taking, entering an auto to commit theft and financial transaction card theft.
