Local Man Banned From WalMart is Arrested at WalMart

A Summerville man who was banned from Wal-Mart last year was arrested this week at Wal-Mart in Chattooga County.

Chattooga County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Wal-Mart after employees notified them that a man who had been banned from the store was spotted inside the building.

When deputies arrived they spoke with twenty-four-year-old Michael Anthony Woods of a Marvin Street address who had signed an agreement with Wal-Mart banning him from the property in July of 2019.

Woods was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.
