On Monday the Chattooga County Library in Summerville opened their doors to the public for the first time in several weeks due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The library had been offering curb side service and has encouraged people who needed internet service to use the internet from their parking lots, but the building itself was closed until this week. Library officials say that for now, the library in Summerville will open again this Friday, June 12th from 10 AM until 4 PM. There will be a limit of 25 people allowed in the library at any given time. The Trion Library remains closed. Also, the Chattooga County Library says that masks are suggested – but not required.
