LaFayette Will Open Pool With Restrictions

The City of LaFayette will open the municipal swimming pool on Monday, June 15th… but there will be a number of new safety restrictions due to COVID-19.

Temperatures will be taken on entry… and only 25 people will be allowed in during each of three two-hour time-slots.  It’s first come, first serve to swim from noon until 2 pm, 2:30 until 4:30 pm, or 5 ’til 7 pm daily.  30 minutes between sessions will be used for sanitizing the facility.

Admission is $4 and age 2 and under are free.  The City of LaFayette asks that you bring your own chairs to minimize points of exposure.

There will be no family passes, no pool parties and no swim lessons this year.
