LaFayette Police charged a driver with crashing his vehicle under the influence of drugs, Saturday afternoon, on Foster Mill Drive. The vehicle had dropped off the edge of the pavement and hit a culvert.
They arrived to find the Nissan Murano on its top. The driver had only superficial injuries, while a passenger was transported… complaining of chest pains.
Forty-year-old Jason Dale Graves failed field sobriety testing and told officers he had “snorted” a pain medication for which he did not have a prescription. They found two cartridges containing a white substance. He identified it as NEURONTIN.
In addition to DUI, Graves was also charged with failure to maintain lane.
