The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is reminding Georgia residents that even though the state is under a shelter in place order, hunting, fishing, boating and hiking are allowed. Governor Brian Kemp issued the shelter in place order last Thursday and it went into effect on Friday at 6 PM. The order will expire on April 13th at midnight. All state-owned boat ramps will remain open – unless they reach capacity under the shelter in place order. You CANNOT have more than 10 people in your group and you must stay six feet away from others. Other than those restrictions, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources urges you to get outside and enjoy the beautiful spring weather.
