The Chattooga Indians Boys Basketball Team made history when they went to the Elite Eight and then on to the Final Four during the GHSA State Championship playoffs but came up short against Therrell on Saturday night in Milledgeville.
Therrell High School, from the southwest Atlanta area, dominated the score board during the game ending the first quarter with 17 points to Chattooga’s 8. By the half Therrell, had almost double their points while the Indians were only able to score on a few attempts and led 32-14.
During the second-half of the game, Therrell was able to increase their lead with the third quarter ending 44-21 over Chattooga. The final quarter, the Indians were able to put 18 points on the board but fell short 54-37.
