The Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce will be holding “Jump Start Monday” today at the Chattooga County Civic Center on Highway 48 in Summerville (across from BB&T Bank). Today’s event will feature demonstrations of the new voting machines that we will all be using when we go to vote in the elections this year. The Presidential Preference Primary in March will be the first time the new machines will be used. The Chattooga County Registrar Office will be on hand at the Chattooga County Civic Center this morning from 9 AM until 11 AM to give demonstrations on the new voting machines.
The event is free and open to the public and is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the new voting machines before election time.
