CHS Graduate Named Chairman of Georgia Republicans at U of G

A 2018 graduate of Chattooga High School has been named the Chairman of the Georgia Republicans at the University of Georgia.

Alex Huskey is a sophomore at UGA, majoring in political science.  Huskey has been active in politics for several years and worked for the campaign of Governor Brian Kemp.   Huskey became the outreach director for the College Republicans at the University of Georgia before becoming chairman.

Huskey also volunteered in the Rome office of Congressman Tom Graves over the past summer.  Graves represents a large chunk of Northwest and West Central Georgia in the 14th Congressional District.

Huskey was elected to a one-year term as Chairman of the Georgia Republicans at the University of Georgia.
