Three Teens Turn Themselves In to LaFayette Police

Three of the four teenagers wanted in connection with an armed robbery in LaFayette have turned themselves in to authorities.

Mathew Avery Asbeury, 19; Kameron Gage Shropshire, 17; Quintavious Knox, 17; and Larell Dashon Hampton are all accused of accosting a couple in a parking lot in LaFayette, with at least one of the teens brandishing a weapon.  Asbeury, Shropshire and Knox had all turned themselves in as of Wednesday.  LaFayette Police were still looking for Hampton, and were requesting that if anyone knew of his whereabouts, to call the police department.

The four teens allegedly beat the male driver after he refused to hand over his wallet.  They are also accused of the breaking the window out of the vehicle that the couple were in as they fled from the scene.

Upon arrival at the crime scene, police discovered minor injuries to the male victim, including blood on his shirt and shorts, as well as damages to the passenger-side window totaling around $500.
