Shortly after midnight on Monday morning, the Pure Stop at Lyerly was broken into. The sheriff’s department reports that money was taken from the cash register.
According to the report from the sheriff’s office, someone passing by noticed that it looked like the front door of the business had been broken into. When a responding deputy arrived, he found that the front glass door of the store was shattered. Deputies looked inside the store, but no one was there.
When contact was made with the owner of the store Nizar “Sam” Sundrani, he told officers that cash had been taken from the register. The amount stolen was not listed in the report from the sheriff’s office.
The incident was turned over to an investigator.
