LaFayette Man Charged in Hit and Run Accident

A GRANT STREET RESIDENT WAS CHARGED IN A HIT-AND-RUN ACCIDENT IN LAFAYETTE, EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.
THE FEMALE VICTIM, FROM ROSSVILLE, SAID HER CAR WAS “SIDESWIPED” BY A MAN IN A HONDA CIVIC, NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF NORTH MAIN AND THE BYPASS… AND SHE FOLLOWED HIM.   WHEN HE PARKED THE CAR AT A NORTH MAIN STREET RESIDENCE, SHE BLOCKED HIM IN AND CALLED 9-1-1.
POLICE FOUND THAT 26 YEAR OLD GUILLERMO HERNANDEZ GONZALEZ DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH.
HE WAS CHARGED WITH HIT AND RUN AND DRIVING WITHOUT A VALID LICENSE.
