TAYLOR, Mich – A 19-year-old man died after his dirt bike collided with a vehicle in Taylor.
On Monday at 7:48 p.m., a crash occurred at the intersection of S. Telegraph Road and I-94.
A preliminary investigation indicated that a man was riding a dirt bike reported stolen in Shelby Township when he ran a red light and crashed with a Ford Edge.
According to witnesses, the driver of the Ford vehicle remained on the scene and attempted to help the 19-year-old. The teen was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Speed, drugs, and alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors to the crash.
