At approximately 6:15 in the morning, Damian Bass, who is 19 years old, was taken into custody at a residence located on New York Boulevard in Chestnuthill Township, as stated in a press statement.
A homicide that occurred on August 26 at the New Jersey Transit Long Branch Station was the reason the prosecutor for Monmouth County sought him, according to the announcement.
James Hailey, 43 years old, was the victim of this gunshot, according to Deputy United States Marshal Bobby Lenahan, who confirmed the incident earlier.
Following the arraignment, Bass was transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility in order to await his extradition to the state of New Jersey.
