CHICAGO – This week, a guy from Chicago was taken into custody in connection with a carjacking that took place in Irving Woods on Wednesday morning for unknown reasons.
One felony case of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm, one felony count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and one felony offense of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon by a person under the age of 21 are all charges that have been submitted against Daniel Cabrera, who is 18 years old.
In the 900 block of West Irving Park Road, Cabrera and a few other individuals are accused of committing a carjacking on Wednesday, while holding a man who was 35 years old at gunpoint.
In the 5200 block of South Pulaski, a few hours later, the police arrested Cabrera and charged him with the appropriate offense.
On Friday, he is set to hear his detention hearing.
